THE PROGRAMS OF OUR NEW PRESIDENT IN 2008

The 2008 Presidential election is the best chance the Democratic Party has at capturing the Presidency in eight years. The Democratic nominee will be Hillary Clinton. If she is smart she will choose Barack Obama to be her running mate. The dream team of the nation’s first woman President and its President in training to succeed her as the first black President (bumping Bill from that title) would be too hard to beat. The Republicans will counter with nominees Rudy Giuliani and Condoleezza Rice but the Democrats will prevail. The Presidential succession since Ronald Reagan will then look like this: Bush, Clinton, Bush, and Clinton. Talk about see sawing back and forth!

Hillary will turn her attention first to the Iraq War. With Iraq still unstable and unable to police itself from the never ending hordes of terrorists streaming across its borders, nevertheless she will pull out all troops immediately. What will follow will be a quick takeover of Iraq by Iran who will purge the country of all Kurds and Sunnis in a massive genocidal slaughtering of millions of people. Iran will also conquer and annex Lebanon, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia.

Then Iran fortified with billions in oil profits will build its first atomic bomb and promptly wipe Israel off the face of the map.

Of course all of this will take time and Hillary will be busy with domestic concerns before the Middle East blows up in her face. On the domestic agenda her first move will be not to renew the “Bush tax cuts for the rich.” One increase will have immediate effect, the raising of the capital gains tax from its Bush cut of 15% back to 28% or more. As this is written, the stock market crossed 14,000 for the first time. You might remember its last lowest point was in the Presidency of William Jefferson Clinton in 2002 when it bottomed out in the 7,000s. So before Hillary faces a Middle East collapse she will face a stock market crash. While she is at it Hillary will increase the top income tax rate to 50% to provide for a fairer redistribution of income.

Next on the agenda will be Hillary Care, Universal Government Health Care. In order to make this program solvent she will rename the Medicare payroll deduction “Healthcare” and in the process increase its bite on everybody’s paycheck by 5%.. Americans are going to see a big decrease in their take home pay.

Hillary will put the full force of her Presidency in support of Global warming solutions. She will commit the USA to a world Global Warming Treaty which will place stringent demands on American business. Among those will a government mandate by her administration that all new cars produced and driven in the United States must get a minimum of 50 miles per gallon in order to reduce CO2 discharge into the atmosphere and discourage large vehicles and vehicle usage.

The new Clinton administration will reintroduce the Immigration Reform Bill that failed to pass in the Bush administration. Its provisions will include the former provisions of complete amnesty for all illegals here now and the ability for any illegal to bring into the US four other family members. Where the bill will differ from the Bush bill will be the deletion of any border fence. Open borders will the policy of Hillary’s administration.

In areas of rising prices the new administration will impose price controls, most notably on drugs and gasoline. The result will be shortages and the loss of research and development.

There will be many other smaller issues that are part of Hillary’s administration like restoring the Fairness Doctrine to broadcast media, outlawing school voucher programs and decreasing military spending by 50%. But all that will unfold in due time.
